Creative Notes
The Bellas Artes Museum is an art gallery in downtown Santiago near the river. As soon as I walked through the entrance, I was welcomed with this warm and spacious room, lit by daylight through an entire ceiling of glass. What a powerful opening! I enjoyed this room as much as the exhibition of photographs on the second floor.
Technical Notes
What makes me stand in the middle of this room and spin? It is the shiny floor and the glass ceiling. When I look up, I don't stop there. My eye follows the intricate spiderweb over my head to the opposite wall and down through the reflections in the floor. I choose a vertical orientation to capture those elements and the outward movement they create.
