Visiones de Viñedos is now offically opened! At 1200 on the 18th, we kicked off the exhibition with about fourty people at the gallery. The Director of the BNC, Constanza Guell and the DCM from the U.S. Embassy, Emi Yamauchi spoke a couple words about the show and we spent some time reviewing the photos and having a couple drinks. It really was a lovely way to start. Here are a couple photographs from the event:

I heard about this event from someone who handed me and article from the newspaper. The event was a wine sale at the Mapocho, put on my El Mercurio. I've had been wanting to go there ever since I saw the huge glass door in a photograph, so I took my camera and met a friend. The Mapocho is an old train station, now a cultural center.

Back in December, Bacanal used one of my photographs in their wine magazine, but I've only now got my hands on a copy. No, it's not the cover photograph. It's just an image of a wine bottle which I placed in the sun. I took a couple bottles with a friend up to Santa Lucia to take photos of "Wine and Santiago".
