Creative Notes Black and white was choosen as the medium for this photograph to eliminate the imbalance created by different light temperatures. The photo was cropped to balance the elements which construct the image: The dome, the lights of the courtyard, and the Old City wall along the bottom.
Technical Notes This photograph was taken with my 28-135mm Zoom Lens from the Mount of Olives. The lens was stopped down as tight as possible to f/22 to attain the sharpest image possible and to create the thin star patterned lights. |
