Creative Notes So there is actually only one ant in this photograph, but there were plenty in the immediate vicinity and the name sounded better than the alternative. The composition of this photograph just made sense at the time. Prowling around the house with a macro lens and a ring flash, everything is fair game for photographing.
Technical Notes This image was cropped and leveled like most of the black and white photographs taken. While a ring flash tends to produce the appearance of flat images, there was enough texture on the surface of the almonds to keep this photograph interesting. |
